wait... if it's stored in the game file itself, then how did it keep my save when i updated? i deleted that whole file to replace it with the new one, how did it retain my saves if it's stored in that file?

i wanted to back up my save file, as i do with any game i enjoy (and you should too, in case of the countless things that can go wrong even with cloud saves). i checked many of the usual places games will send the save files to, but i couldn't seem to find anything. where are they stored?

i managed to fix it by changing the install location, but now it just won't start. i double click on the exe file, it says that the game is running, and then it just... stops running, before it even brings it up.

every time  i try to install this update i get this error message:

Couldn't open NuclearThroneTogether.exe for writing: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to path "Snip\Steam\steamapps\common\Nuclear Throne\NuclearThroneTogether.exe" is denied
